The Department has been organizing workshops, stakeholder meetings, interaction meets, training programmes and other events on industrial research and innovation issues in different regions of the country in collaboration with various agencies for sharing of perspectives, training and advocacy.The Access to Knowledge for Technology Development and Dissemination Events programme of DSIR provides a platform for exchange of views leading to useful Insights on issues relating to industrial research and technological innovation. The programme supports the organization of workshops, interactions, training programmes and other events to facilitate industry and consultancy organizations, academic and research institutions in identifying, developing and learning tools and techniques to effectively combat technology change and pressure in the constantly evolving and highly competitive business climate that is the order of the day.

DSIR proposes to support such events on a selective basis. Initiatives will be taken in consultation with various stakeholders, industry associations, other ministries and departments, and other relevant sources to identify national as well as international events for collaboration and support.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVE

The main objective is to provide a platform for exchange of views, useful insight and learning for the benefit of industry, academic, consultancy and research organizations, and others. These events would be aimed at increasing awareness, capacity building and stakeholder engagement on industrial research and innovation issues, resulting in strengthening of technology development and competitiveness. 

PROPOSALS INVITED

Proposals are invited for organizing workshops, stakeholder meetings, interaction meets, training programmes and other events on industrial research and innovation issues in different regions of the country.

* Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the events already finalized by applicant organizations, irrespective of the date of event, may apply any time between Oct 2021 - March 2022.

Submit online application

The "Support to Events (A2K+ Events)" program of DSIR is launched on Service Plus Platform. Organization/Institutes intending to apply for financial assistance for Event proposal under DSIR-A2K+ (Events) program are requested to submit their application online on Service Plus Portal at https://serviceonline.gov.in/dbt. Those interested in submitting proposal have to register at this portal and submit the proposal online. Please read detailed instructions and application format available on the portal carefully before submitting the proposal.

In addition, kindly note that non-government voluntary organizations are also required to submit Organization's Unique ID in NGO Darpan Portal while registering at service Plus Platform for filing online application.

On submission of the application online, they should take printout and get it signed by head of the institution and submit one set of hard copy along with all the annexures, attachments etc. to DSIR by Speed-post.
